I’m so embarrassed. I’m not a real person yet.

Watching France’s Ha. This film’s incredible.

Quote
"It’s that thing when you’re with someone and you love them and they know it and they love you and you know it but it’s a party and you’re both talking to other people and you’re laughing and shining and you look across the room and catch each other’s eyes. But not because you’re possessive, or it’s precisely sexual, but because that is your person in this life and it’s funny and sad but only because this life will end and it’s this secret world that exists right there. In public. Unnoticed. That no one else knows about. It’s sort of like how they say that other dimensions exist all around us but we don’t have the ability to perceive them. That’s what I want out of a relationship. Or just life, I guess."

Just found out that one of the sweetest girls I’ve ever known has been diagnosed with cervical cancer.
She’s looking to raise as much as possible to receive the treatment she desperately needs in Germany.
Every dollar counts and it would mean the world to me is anybody reads this, to donate what they can.

"Alicia has been quietly and graciously fighting cervical cancer after being diagnosed in May 2013. Many of her friends and acquaintances have been unaware of her diagnosis and her daily battle. She has a rare and extremely aggressive form of cancer, known as clear cell adenocarcinoma. She has gone through multiple rounds of chemotherapy, surgery, radiation on a daily basis, invasive internal radiation, as well as strict changes to her diet and lifestyle to try and defeat this disease which heartbreakingly destroyed her fertility at the age of 27.

Just before Christmas 2013, we were informed that this ferocious form of cancer had spread through her lymphatic system and has now developed in both of her lungs. Alicia’s doctors gave their prognosis of a short and bleak future. However, with the same attitude that Alicia has applied to her whole fight with this disease, she is determined to continue and has found hope in a leading oncology clinic in Germany. The clinic offers advanced technology and treatments not available in Australia, applying a holistic individualised approach that will give Alicia the best chance of surviving.

It has been a devastating and heart wrenching time for Alicia and her family. Alicia has already carried so much of this burden by herself, maintaining a positive attitude and twinkle in her eye together with a strong determination to overcome this horrendous cancer.

However, the financial cost of treatments for this rare cancer is overwhelmingly expensive, and now she needs your help to have a shot at what everyone deserves, a future.

Any donation to help Alicia receive the life saving treatment she so desperately needs would be gratefully appreciated.”

Die Antwoord // Pitbull Terrier

Die Antwoord never fail to impress. This will probably keep me tied over until Chappie comes out.
